Trips and Vacations!

It's DC/PA (I'm flying into DC and then we're driving up to Hanover) this weekend.

And then it's CANADA (Calgary, to be exact) August 11-14! Only other time I've actually been out of the country is to Tiajuana to volunteer at an orphanage during Spanish-class in high school, and I don't know if that counts. I get to visit with [info]whatifoundthere and [info]redmagpie! Awwwwwesome times, they is acomin'.

Beginning of September is Dragon*Con... hrm, must complete plans for Pizzazz costume.

On the list of places to work into the schedule of visiting somehow:
Seattle/Portland
Colorado Springs
San Fransisco

Canada isn't 'out of the country.' :P

Well, not going to Toronto/Ottawa. I imagine if I went to more of the areas with French culture I'd be pleasantly surprised. That being said, they're a great people and I love visiting any chance I get. Other than in the winter...eeesh.

What do you think? (Adding pink hair, a pair of pink heels and pink star earings.) I think I'm going to be lazy and buy one of the two dresses, and this is what I'm looking at right now ->

Dress for 'Jem'

The other one that I'm going to make, that I'm thinking about, is going to be pink/purple and is of an asymetrical design.

Niiiice!! That'll be awesome. :) I'm gonna try to get some extra-large posterboard and cut myself a guitar, then hang it 'round my neck, as well.

If you're near Hanover, PA and want to meet up on Sunday, drop me a line. I'm leaving at 9pm from Reagan-National in DC, so as long as I get to the airport at some point that afternoon, I'm gold -- there's a good chance I can find time for lunch or somesuch before my buddies get me back there. :)
